DESCRIPTION OF THE ACTIVITY
Logistics and International Shipping Society of Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman has organized their interaction day for January 2015 Trimester on 10th February 2015. The event was carried out at Student Grand Kampar Sport Complex. The duration of the event was 2 hours, from 9.00 p.m. to 11.00 p.m.
Through all the commitment from all organizing committees, the interaction day was held successfully and work as the planned. There are total of 59 participants in the interaction day which achieved organizing committees’ expectation. However, there are some aspects that been pointed out from the activity.
Futsal and badminton games were carried out separately, hence every participant can only choose one of the games to be played on the event day. They had stated clearly about their choice during registration for the activity. Nevertheless, some female participants who registered for futsal game section refused to play futsal and cross over to badminton section on spot. It affected the arrangement for both game teams as the committees had made arrangement for team members of both games.
Moreover, the participants were lack of self discipline. They started to play around when it near the end of activities as too much of freedom was given to them. Insufficient staffs for controlling and looking after the game teams was another weakness for the issue.
In conclusion, the activity can still be considered as satisfying as the communication and interactions between participants were good.
